Jane’s Nine Inch Addiction

Yeah, so you know about the Nine Inch Nails/Jane’s Addiction tour, right? Okay, just in case you don’t, the idea is that it’ll relaunch the career of Jane’s, while simultaneously acting as a farewell tour for Nine Inch Nails. At least temporarily. That last statement applies to both bands. On the tour they will also be joined by Street Sweeper, the new band featuring Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello.
Now, if that wasn’t exciting enough, that Trent Reznor fella has just uploaded a free EP, featuring two unreleased tracks from each of the three bands on the tour. So, that’s some new Nine Inch Nails, some new Street Sweeper, and some new Jane’s Addiction. The latter is probably the most exciting, because it’s two new versions of two old Jane’s Addiction songs produced by Trent Reznor.
The first track, ‘Chip Away’, is given the NIN treatment, making it similar in some ways to Saul William’s Reznor-produced tracks, while ‘Whores’ is a full-on rocked out and brightened up version of a fan favourite.
What’s more, because this is Trent giving this away, you get a choice of formats: high quality MP3, FLAC, lossless M4A, and 24bit studio quality WAV.
Go and download it right now from www.ninja2009.com and then try not to weep too openly.
